Michael Jackson tribute concerts cancelled after deals fall through

Two tribute concerts for the late Michael Jackson that were due to take place at the O2 arena have been cancelled after promoters failed to seal deals with artists they had hoped would perform.
The two concerts were to have gone ahead at the London venue on August 29 and 30, but they have been called off after organisers ran out of time to finalise deals with performers. They were said to have included Justin Timberlake and the X Factor winner Leona Lewis.
AEG, the company behind the former Millennium Dome, still hopes to host an event in memory of the singer, who was due to have played an unprecedented 50 nights at the venue.
But as disputes continue over the distribution of the pop star’s estate, and with his family making claims about the effect that AEG Live, the company organising the abandoned shows, had on his health, it is not clear whether the tribute will go ahead. “If they ever happen, it will not be until next year,” a source close to the event said. “We didn’t want to rush out something that was sub-standard — we would rather wait until we have got the best possible people.”

This Tribute concert started off on the wrong foot with a very convoluted ticket pricing. This is another Tribute that's taking a shot at capitalizing on Michael Jackson' s death without any shame. The trial is still going on, and as a diehard fan I'd say Justice before profits. What's the matter with the Jackson Family? They have become a runaway train, how can we trust them at this point? Even a tick stop feeding off you when you're dead! Joe Jackson has recently teamed up with a professional crook Julian Rouas to exploit Michael' s image with a new line of cheesy perfumes.
